The Toyota Crown, an icon of Asia in its own right.
It has carried people through different eras, and while this generation may not be the familiar taxi that once graced Singapore’s roads, it remains a classic admired by those who appreciate Japanese craftsmanship.
Our client wanted to refresh the seats, door panels and steering wheel, which had shown signs of wear.
The Crown’s leather seats had previously been reupholstered locally in Singapore, replacing the original factory velour.
This time, our client requested that the new leather match the colour of the surrounding interior panels. To achieve this, we selected the European Nappa leather from our catalog.
To preserve the original character of the car, even down to the infotainment system, we sourced a new LCD screen to replace the blurred and ageing unit, keeping true to the authentic JDM experience.
